The mission of scouting and guiding is to contribute to the education of young people through a value based system so that they take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens and as member of their local national and international communities. The purpose of scouting is to encourage the physical, social emotional and spiritual development of young people. Students learn important life skills through various outdoor adventure activities like hiking, recreational sports, camp fire which includes different activities such as singing, skit enactment, joke telling, Dancing etc. which are organized during the camp period.
Various camps of inter-school, state and national level are organized every year like Rajya Puruskar camp, Rastrapati Preparatory camp and Tritya Sopan Camp in which the students are awarded with certificates on the basis of their participation. During the session, Scouts and Guides celebrate and spread awareness about different days which includes Yoga Day, Environment Day, AIDS Day etc.
Achievements
