To develop a sense of Social and Civic responsibility among the students, N.S.S. unit of Him Academy Public School Vikas Nagar, organizes community service programmes like Cleanliness campaigns, Awareness spreading programmes, Tree plantation, Literacy programmes, Maintenance of places of historic importance, or temples, constructing roads, Blood donation camps, Beti Bachao Abhiyan and Mock drills to fight natural disasters or calamities. N.S.S. unit also organizes one day camps and seven days special camp every year. The N.S.S. provides the student, avenues for indulging in creative and constructive works. Working for and with the community, understanding the problems of real life and utilizing their skills and knowledge in solving those problems enrich the experience of the students and has tremendous value in their preparation for shouldering up the responsibilities of life.
N.S.S. volunteers participate in "Youth Leadership Camps" which gives the opportunity to participate in the state as well as National level Republic Day Parade.
