Teaching Pedagogy

Pedagogy

Him Academy Public School is one of the best day boarding cum residential schools affiliated with CBSE which strives  to provide  high -quality, stress-free learning that lays the foundation for their holistic development. The curriculum uniquely blends creative thinking, a multiple intelligence approach, and differential learning. The best teaching methodology incorporates Question Bank Driven Pedagogy, highlighting NCERT books,  Question Tagging of Board and Competitive PYQs  in NCERT books, and Memory Frames, considering students at the center of the teaching-learning process.

For the best results in Academics, we  adhere to the following best strategies :

Question Bank Driven Pedagogy: For better and in-depth comprehension of subject matter, question banks based on NCERT are prepared. Each subject's question bank is an exhaustive collection of questions arranged in the textbook sequence and ordered according to Bloom’s taxonomy. Each question has a unique identification number. Students are given pages to read and comprehend through questions in the question bank, which are then discussed in class.

Interactive Teaching Pedagogy: This teaching activity engages learners and seeks spontaneous responses from the whole class. Teaching occurs only when learning takes place. The purpose of interaction is to enable students to learn what is being taught.

Highlighted NCERT Textbook: The most important keywords are highlighted by the teacher and displayed to the students, who then highlight the same in their textbooks.

Preparing Memory Frames: After discussing a topic, students are encouraged to draw memory frames. These frames provide insight into visual thinking and help filter out key concepts.

Maintaining a Competitive Edge:

HAPS provides a well-defined coaching program integrated with routine classroom teaching for all students from class 3 onwards. This is done using customized assignments of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to test knowledge, understanding, and higher-order thinking skills in all subjects.
