Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Principal (Academics), Him Academy Public School, has been invited as a delegate to participate in the prestigious Academic Leadership Suite (ALS) 2026, organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The four-day international programme brings together academic leaders from across the world and includes participation in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), AI for Good, and the Global Educators Summit (GES) 2026, focusing on educational leadership, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, innovation, and global collaboration.
The inaugural day featured expert sessions on Strategic Partnerships and Institutional Positioning in Higher Education, Applied Research and Academic Leadership in an International Context, a guided tour of the Palais des Nations—the European Headquarters of the United Nations—and a session on Transformational Leadership and Change Management.
A key highlight of the programme is the collaborative development of a white paper and policy recommendations on critical global themes, with delegates working together to propose innovative, future-focused strategies for education, leadership, sustainability, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.
