Him Academy Public School, Vikas Nagar, takes pride in the outstanding achievement of its student, Chinmay, who secured a Gold Medal at the 11th Innoventure Plus Grand Finale held at NICMAR University, Pune. The national-level innovation challenge witnessed participation from more than 1.2 lakh students across India, with only 50 finalists from each grade selected after multiple evaluation rounds.

Chinmay was the sole representative from Himachal Pradesh at the finale. His project focused on managing expiry dates, warranties, renewals, and essential household documents. Using the Design Thinking approach, he developed a prototype Android application based on real-life observations at home.

He confidently presented his solution within the allotted four minutes, demonstrating the app design, working model, and future scope. The event was graced by Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman, AICTE and Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, who encouraged students to pursue lifelong learning and innovation.

#HAPS School Management including Principal Mrs Naina Lakhanpal, Dr Himanshu Sharma congratulated master Chinmay who also expressed his sincere gratitude to his parents, mentors, and the school leadership for their continuous guidance and encouragement. He acknowledged the mentorship and academic support of his mentor teacher, Ms. Mridula Sharma, whose guidance played a key role in shaping his innovative journey. Chinmay further shared his determination to continue exploring new ideas and contributing meaningfully through innovation in the future.
