Swimmers of #HIMAcademyPublicSchoolVikasNagar, showcased extraordinary talent and determination at the Open District #SwimmingTournament held on May 25, 2025, at Almighty Public School, Hamirpur. Competing with participants from across the district, the young athletes delivered a stellar performance, earning a commendable medal tally that brought pride to the entire school community. In the Under-12 category, Geetisha led the charge with two gold medals, triumphing in both the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke. Amayra added to the academy’s glory by securing a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle. The Under-17 category witnessed an equally impressive performance. Anandi dominated the pool with two gold medals—one in the 50m freestyle and the other in the 50m backstroke—along with a silver medal in another 50m freestyle event. Sparsh showcased his skill by winning a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle, while Aryash brought home two bronze medals—in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke. This incredible success is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and perseverance of the swimmers, under the expert coaching of Ms. Monika, whose dedication and consistent training have been pivotal to the team’s performance. To celebrate the achievements of these talented swimmers, a special morning assembly was organized on May 27, 2025, at HIM Academy, where the medalists were honoured for their outstanding performance. The ceremony was graced by Principal Ms. Naina Lakhanpal, Principal Academics Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Vice Principal Mr. Ashwani Sharma, and Academic Coordinators Mrs. Kanchan Lakhanpal, Ms. Vinita Gupta, and Ms. Manisha Marwah. The event celebrated not only the victories but also the spirit of commitment and sportsmanship, leaving the entire school community beaming with pride.
