Sadhik Nirankari, a talented Grade 12 student from Him Academy Public School, Vikas Nagar, brought laurels to the institution by qualifying at both Block and District levels in the offline Declamation Contest organized in celebration of World Environment Day. The competition, held under the direction of the Deputy Director Elementary Education, Hamirpur, focused on the theme "Beat Plastic Pollution," highlighting the crucial role of Eco Clubs in tackling the issue of single-use plastics. Sadhik impressed the judges with his exceptional oratory skills at the Block Level contest held at Govt. Boys Sr. Sec. School, Hamirpur on 23rd May, 2025 earning him a place in the District Level round. He further showcased his eloquence and environmental awareness on 24th May 2025 at the District Level Declamation Contest, conducted at the DDEE office, Hamirpur. He has been selected for the state level contest. The event was organized in collaboration with HIMCOSTE and the Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology and Environment, aimed at raising student awareness of critical environmental issues. Special appreciation goes to Eco Club Incharge Ms. Neha Sharma for her dedicated mentorship and guidance. Her consistent efforts in encouraging environmental consciousness and preparing students for such platforms were instrumental in Sadhik’s success.
