Vikas Nagar, November 17, 2024 (Sunday): The annual celebration at Him Academy Public School, Vikas Nagar, was marked by grandeur and enthusiasm. Meritorious students were felicitated, and vibrant cultural performances enthralled the audience. Dr.VandanaRaghuwanshi (MBBS, MD Radiology, Alumna of HAPS) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the event with a ceremonial lamp lighting. Distinguished guests included the school’s Chairperson, Mr. R.C. Lakhanpal; Vice Chairperson, Mrs.ChandraprabhaLakhanpal; Director, Mr.PankajLakhanpal; Principal, Er. Mrs.NainaLakhanpal; Academic Principal, Dr.Himanshu Sharma; Vice Principal, Mr.Ashwani Sharma; DSW Mr.Sanjeev Thakur and DDSW Mr. Kamal Singh. Inspiring the students and parents, the chief guest commended the school’s contribution to society. The school’s Head Girl, Aradhya Sharma, highlighted the chief guest's achievements. The cultural performances were a visual treat, starting with a Shiv Vandana by Class 10 students, reflecting Indian traditions. Class 5 students presented a dance drama on Ahilyabai’s life, earning applause. The soulful Raga Jaunpuri rendition mesmerized the audience. The skit captivated the audience while Class 6’s performance, “Beti: Zameen se AasmanTak”, moved everyone emotionally. A yoga showcase displayed the students' talent, and Class 12 students added vibrancy with Nati and Bhangra dances. The annual report, outlining the school’s achievements, was presented by Class 12 students. The Principal and Chief Guest awarded 296 meritorious students with prizes. The event was meticulously coordinated by Mrs.KanchanLakhanpal, Mrs ManishaMarwah and Mrs. Vinita Gupta, with Mrs.Pooja Thakur serving as the Event Manager along with Seema Thakur, Deputy Event Manager. The main anchors, Rishit Sharma, ArshiyaKaundal, Anvesha, and RishitDogra, effectively conducted the event, prepared under the guidance of Mrs.Savita Sharma and Mrs.Parul. The efforts of the Music, Dance, and Art Departments were instrumental in the success of the event. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Hostel Captain Maheshwar Singh Parmar, while Principal Er. NainaLakhanpal applauded the teachers for their dedication and commitment to the school’s excellence.
