Hamirpur, November 18, 2024 — The Department of Posts, Hamirpur Division, has released a special commemorative cover to honor Him Academy Public School’s remarkable 27-year journey of excellence in education. This milestone marks the fifth special cover release in Himachal Pradesh this year and the first in Hamirpur district in 2024.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the Hamirpur Head Post Office, Himachal Pradesh, and was graced by eminent dignitaries, including officials from the Department of Posts and members of the school’s management committee. The event was attended by Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Superintendent, Hamirpur Division; Sh. Suram Singh Banyal, Inspector Posts (West), Hamirpur Sub Division; Sh. Rajnish Kumar, Inspector Posts (East), Hamirpur Sub Division; Sh. Sanjiv Kumar, Postmaster, Hamirpur Head Post Office; and Smt. Sunita Dhiman, Deputy Superintendent, Hamirpur Division. Representing the Him Academy Public School Management Committee were Prof. R.C. Lakhanpal, Chairman; Smt. Chander Prabha Lakhanpal, Vice Chairperson; Sh. Pankaj Lakhanpal, Director; Ms. Himanshu Sharma, Academic Principal; Ms. Naina Lakhanpal, Principal of HAPS Vikas Nagar; and Prakrit Lakhanpal, Administrative Officer.

In his address, Prof. R.C. Lakhanpal, Chairman of Him Academy Public School, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition. “This special cover symbolizes our dedication to quality education and the enduring trust of our community over the past 27 years,” he stated. Smt. Sunita Dhiman, Deputy Superintendent of Posts, commended the school for its transformative impact on education and emphasized the significance of the special cover as a proud milestone in the institution’s history.

The commemorative cover features an artistic depiction of the school, celebrating its role as a beacon of learning, innovation, and character-building.
