Dance

We train children from first to twelfth classes in various dance forms like Folk Dance, Indian Classical and International Dance Form.

If we talk about Folk Dance, Himachali Natti, Bhangra, Gidda, Kathputli, Kalbeliya, Ghoomar and Lavani are some to mention. Classical dance includes Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Mohiniyattam. In Western Dance genre, children enjoy doing Jazz , Chinese Umbrella Dance , and Zumba dance forms.

The UV act performance and learning is the main attraction of the annual functions every year.

The complete Performing Art experience helps students to make them familiar with their varied culture and traditions and overcome stage fright, become more confident, learn to work in teams and feel a great sense of achievement.

These different forms of dances are also performed during various events, days and festivals celebration in the school. Every Indian festival i.e. Holi, Diwali, Christmas etc. is celebrated with great enjoy and enthusiasm.

Virtual Bollywood dance session in collaboration with AFS India and AFS Egypt (2021)

One student bagged in 3rd position at STATE LEVEL KALA UTSAV DANCE COMPETITION (2020).

1st position in duo DANCE HIMACHAL DANCE season-7 (2019)

Two students participated in DANCE DEEWANE  T.V. Reality show and cleared 2 rounds successfully.

secured 1st and 2nd position  in HIMACHAL'S GOT TALENT (2018).

2nd runner-up in junior group  DHD season -6 (2018)
