NCC

NCC is a tri services organization comprising of the Army, Naval and the Air Force. It Engages the youth who are the leaders of tomorrow to mould them into disciplined and patriotic citizens. They are given professional training which includes marching, weapon training and the First aid. HAPS NCC cadets participate in annual training every year and take part in a number of competitions. These disciplined cadets learn to live and work for others with pride and dignity. HAPSVN Hamirpur holds a well organised NCC Unit which was started in the year 2018. Today we have a contingent of 50 Cadets. The students who become cadets after joining the NCC are both boys and girls. NCC in the school campus works under 4HP(I)COY NCC Hamirpur. Each year one Annual Training Camp is organised by the unit where number of activities are performed. The primary aim of NCC activities is to prepare the cadets academically and physically for the entry into NDA and other walks of life. NCC training is an integral part of this school training programmes like Parades, Range Firing, Community services that are conducted on regular basis. NCC cadets are awarded NCC “A” certificate on completion of their two years training.
