Him Academy Public school, Hamirpur (HAPS),conceived in 1998 ,is a school with a difference. It is a day-cum boarding school. The true spirit of this school gets reflected in every sphere of school life .It may be Special Assemblies,Band competitions ,Bal Sabha,sports meets,NCC,NSS and other fields of activities nurturing students and preparing them for life .The school site is very close to nature, surrounded on one side by tall pine trees and a playfield on the other where students play different games. The school has a well equipped spacious library with more than 18000 books .It offers a wide choice of books .It gives a standing invitation to students and teachers to come and read books as well as newspapers and periodicals. There is capacity of almost 40 students at a time to read or study there .Absolute silence prevails there .All this is very favourable to students who wish to study in that studious environment. There is an air conditioned multi purpose hall cum auditorium for organizing various functions at school. It has the capacity of 400 chairs or 600 seating at a time .
